Acestea sunt cele 3 elemente majore ale lipidelor – carbonul, oxigenul si hidrogenul. Grasimea este, de asemenea, protectiva. Corpul retine grasime ca si masura de protectie impotriva acizilor metabolici alimentari. Cand consumam grasimi nesaturate, lipsesc ionii de hidrogen din lantul carbonic. Cand grasimea nesaturata intra in contact cu toxine metabolice sau acizi din alimentatie, le neutralizeaza. Aceste grasimi au capacitatea de a neutraliza acizii, adica efectul lor distructiv asupra tesuturilor. Acesta este un mecanism de protectie al organismului, care va duce la exces de greutate si grasime. Ganditi-va la surplusul de greutate ca la un loc de parcare al excesului de acizi metabolici sau alimentari care nu sunt eliminati prin urina, transpiratie, respiratie sau defecatie(scaun). Dupa cum vezi grasimea salveaza oamenii de la excesul de aciditate. Insulina este un tampon alcalin si creste tocmai pentru a neutraliza excesul de aciditate din alimente, bauturi sau metabolism. Young&lt;/strong&gt; demonstrează că organismul nostru funcționează pe bază de electricitate(electroni). De fapt în această serie video se pune întrebarea dacă alimentele pe care le consumăm ne aduc energie sau nu. În acest prim video &lt;strong&gt;Dr. Young&lt;/strong&gt; testează sarea și zahărul si demonstrează că sarea(nerafinată și neiodată!!!) conduce fluxul electric iar zaharul nu.
